A useful first step / Customer records
Give your contact
list a checkup.
Start a conversation about a customer list your business can rely on. Bring your CSV, tell Douglas what you need it to do, and review the local health check after your inquiry is received.
Bring your list.
Use a UTF-8 CSV with column names in the first row. Up to 2 MB, 10,000 records and 100 columns.
Or paste the contents below. Quoted commas, line breaks and escaped quotation marks are supported.
Match your columns.
Check the suggested matches. Choose a name column and at least one contact column. All other columns stay in your draft.
A name can come from full name, first name or last name. Only the contact columns you select are checked for missing details.
Review before you move anything.
Shared email addresses and phone numbers can belong to different people. These checks flag questions; they do not identify or merge people.
Open a record to see every original field. You can leave a record out of the draft. To correct values, edit the source CSV and check it again.
Choose what goes into your draft.
Downloads preserve every column. To make spreadsheets safer to open, cells beginning with formula characters get an apostrophe prefix, including phone numbers beginning with +. No consent or marketing status is added or changed.
The draft can still contain unresolved checks. Nothing is imported or sent when you download.
